Humera Gull

Humera obtained her B.Sc. in Chemistry at the University of Sargodha and her M.Sc. in Chemistry at the Lahore University of Management Sciences, Pakistan. Currently, her PhD research focuses on investigating transition metals' role in transmembrane transporters involved in neglected tropical diseases. She spends most of her free time watching Netflix series and documentaries.

Madujika Horadigala Gamage

Madujika received her BSc (Special in Chemistry, Honors) from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Currently, she is working on the study of membrane transporter proteins which are involved in metal transport. During her free time, she enjoys walking in nature and interacting with different cultures.

Fernando Montalvillo

Fernando obtained a BS in Chemistry with a Biochemistry Track from The University of Texas Permian Basin in 2021. Fernando have always wanted to be a researcher to put efforts and knowledge into helping people. Fernando won a Research Award at the annual Texas Academy of Science Conference: The Best Freshwater Science Poster. Fernando is from Valladolid, Spain, and loves soccer, spending time with friends, and travelling.

Jonathan Martinez Garcia

Jonathan graduated with honors from the Autonomous University of Mexico State (UAEMéx) with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Jonathan’s research focuses on transmembrane proteins that play an essential role in the metal homeostasis of pathogenic bacteria.  Jonathan’s hobbies include swimming, running, and baking cupcakes

Sean SUNGA

Sean received his bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. His current research focuses on metal transporter proteins essential to the survival of several pathogenic bacteria. In his free time, he enjoys reading and playing video games.

Hossain Nazer Qasimi
